LONDON, England ● With just five days to go until the start of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the Agitos has started appearing in cities around the UK as the nation prepares to celebrate the Games.
The giant Paralympic Agitos have been launched ahead of the start of the Paralympic Games on 29 August.
The Agitos has been revealed at Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge and Kew Gardens in London. Giant sets of the symbol have already been unveiled in Cardiff and Edinburgh.
The Paralympic Agitos, and 21 Paralympic sports pictograms, has also been unveiled on the Eurotunnel Folkestone Control Tower.
The wrap is approximately 6.2 metres x 41 metres has been unveiled to excite and inspire people about the approaching Paralympic Games. In total 4,200 athletes from 165 countries across the world are set to take part in 11 days of spectacular sport.

The Agitos – the symbol of the Paralympic Games – will provide a stunning backdrop for national Paralympic Torch Relay celebrations which get underway in the UK’s four capital cities over the Bank Holiday weekend.
